We moved on 20th December 2023.
We had a meeting at our house with Jason Mannix (apologies if I’ve got names mixed up!). He had a look round the house, and we chatted about what we would need to move which was everything. Received a quote that evening that was cheapest quote I had received. I had met with other bigger companies to obtain quotes and not only were they more expensive they had the typical salesman approach which I hate. Mannix brothers didn’t feel like that I could tell he was genuine and reliable.
Prior to the move both Carmel and Kelly kept in regular contact with me and were friendly and helpful. They would reply to emails almost instantaneously and at virtually anytime.
On moving day a team of 3 men came with two vans. They worked quickly to remove our furniture and boxes. They emptied the house in 2.5 hours. They laid down rugs to protect carpets and wrapped tvs and sofas etc.
They were very friendly and nothing too much trouble for them. They wouldn’t let me carry anything and would happily offer to move something to its rightful place if it was mistakenly put in wrong room.
I would definitely recommend to anyone needing removal service to use Mannix Brothers! Fantastic service! Also not one thing broken!

"The striking and memorable livery on the Mannix Brothers’ vehicles instantly communicates quality and first caught my eye some years ago. The business therefore easily found its place on the shortlist for my recent move from Leicester to storage and onwards to Northern Ireland. Late one evening I used the Mannix site’s comprehensive contact form to request a quote. Carmel responded early the following morning, surveyed the job around lunchtime, and I received a written quote later that afternoon. With prompt and courteous service that inspired my confidence, and a quote that easily beat all the others for clarity, accuracy and transparency, I happily accepted. The removal to storage was easily completed in a morning (all credit to Joe, assisted by Jake, for manoeuvring a very large HGV through a crowded and unforgiving approach to the inner city property). Considering the warehouse work involved in handling the containers (which were subsequently unloaded and reloaded into one of the vans for the onward journey), I thought the storage charges were remarkably modest. Carmel kept in touch with me every month and I always knew where I stood when the next invoice came along. The logistics involved in choosing the ferry and road route for the onward journey over several hundred miles between countries in the middle of winter, and the Customs documentation involved, must have been a nightmare, particularly as the arrangements were made on either side of the Christmas break. Carmel and Kelly took it all in their stride and Jason and Joe soon reunited me with my precious belongings bang on schedule. I’d say that Mannix Brothers is exceptional in every respect. I doubt you’d find a more reliable and professional service anywhere. All the staff members I met obviously cared, and took care. They were consistently polite, approachable and good humoured.
